Aburi sushi with a waterfront sunset

Miku in January might be peak Vancouver dining. We got a window table overlooking the harbour just as the sun was setting behind the North Shore mountains. The aburi salmon oshi was life-changing — that torched top with the perfectly seasoned rice underneath. Split a bottle of sake and watched the seaplanes land. Expensive but worth every penny for a special night.
